In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, I had a vision. That vision had The Rentals practicing a Jackie Wilson cover in the Statue of Liberty and right as it was time for the chorus, Jeff Rosenstock came in and kicked open the door with a positively charged pink slime cannon. Collectively they helped eradicate the negativity going around and started a party.
This song is the closest I could get to that vision without knowing any of the parties involved.
